Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using DigiBioFi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. DigiBioFi is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure your credentials.

You may not create accounts for other individuals without their consent, operate automated account creation tools, or impersonate any person or organization.

4. Acceptable use

You may use DigiBioFi only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Upload or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, or infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, phishing content, or unsolicited commercial communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or connected systems
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or excessively access the Service without prior written consent
• Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions
• Misrepresent your identity or professional credentials on your profile

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you post to DigiBioFi. By posting content, you grant DigiBioFi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Public profiles

When your profile is set to public, it is visible to anyone on the internet, including search engines. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your public profile content. DigiBioFi does not verify professional credentials.

You can set your profile to private at any time through your dashboard settings.

7. Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on the applicable recurring billing cycle. Subscription renewals, plan changes, payment failures, and cancellations are governed by Stripe's terms and the webhook events received by DigiBioFi.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancellation stops future billing; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

8. Service availability

DigiBioFi provides the Service on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Service itself at any time with reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your public profile will be removed and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DigiBioFi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
